Having announced that this year's 66th Independence Day celebration will be staged in Ho, the contracting firm on the Ho Youth Resource sports complex was asked to return to site to complete the edifice which was started in 2018 and expected to be completed 9 months later.
Wilkado Construction Company Limited has thus begun working on the site to see its completion for the historic event of the Independence Day parade to be hosted in Ho.
Several pictures of the on going facility have hit the internet with works steadily progressing.
The recent visit to the site by 24hourssports.com has seen massive improvement with reports gathered revealed the phase one of the project cost government a whooping amount of GH¢2.4 million. Even though tartan tracks have not been laid, the walls across the multipurpose sports center were nicely erected as well as both outer and inner parking spots were being fixed. Other patches at the VIP section have also been looked at.
The contractor, Togbe Gbeworza II was confident of completing the structure on time and will be handed over to the government for use.
The project when entirely finished, is expected to cost up to GH¢5 million.
