Inaki Williams draws lessons from Dede's penalty miss

Inaki Williams, Black Stars striker

Black Stars forward, Inaki Williams has disclosed a lesson he has learnt while with the Black Stars in Qatar.

Andre Dede Ayew stepped up to kick a penalty awarded Black Stars after Mohammed Kudus was brought down by Uruguayan goalie.

In an attempt to kick the ball into the net, goal keeper Sergio Rachet Alvarez dived to the left direction to save the ball in denial of a goal.

Black Stars lost themselves in the game which saw a twist of pressure parried on them leading to their 2-0 loss.

Inaki Williams reacting to the loss, said the captain's admission to the loss of the game was one thing he has learnt while with the team, this he indicated that, as a leader it is always important to take blames on behalf of his people. Despite it was Dede Ayew who missed the penalty, Inaki however was of the view that, the blame was a collective one.

"My lesson learnt is to always be together, the captain said it is his fault but the fault is for everyone. As leaders it is important to take blames but this is a team work and we all as a team take the blame"

"This is a team, this is Ghana and Ghana lose together and win together. This is the lesson I learnt here"

Inaki Williams played in all three games for the Black Stars but unable to register his name on the scoring sheet.
