| Volta regional minister presented with an Arsenal Replica jersey after officially joining the club |
The Volta Regional Minister, Hon. Dr. Archibald Yao Letsa on Sunday the 13th of November, 2022, officially joined the Arsenal Supporters Club Ghana (ASCG) when the group paid a courtesy call on him at his residence.
The Minister, who had been a lifelong Arsenal fan became an official and recognized member of the Arsenal family after he was duly registered and presented with an Arsenal replica jersey by the group.
The visit of the supporters club was part of a 2-day program to launch and officially register all fans of Arsenal Football Club in the Volta and Oti region.
The launch which occurred on Saturday 12th November at Fragert Hotel in Ho, saw Arsenal fans in and around the region come together and gave birth to the Volta/ Oti chapter of the Arsenal Supporters Club Ghana. Later that evening, the fans gathered at 5-Star pub to watch the Gunners play Wolves in a game they won by two nill.
Speaking on Global FM's EPL Moment show, Mr. Eric Asante Zion, the Media and Publicity officer of ASCG, said that the purpose of the launch was to bring together all Arsenal fans, register them and give them a true sense of belongingness.
He added that, being part of the group would enable all members to be officially recognized by the Arsenal Football Club and this would make them enjoy all benefits attached to it. On the flip side, he believed that Arsenal would go all out to win the league this season.
