Ghana's senior national team captain Andre Dede Ayew becomes the most capped player in the history of the Black Stars.

The skipper who begun his Black Stars debut in 2007 has reached 110 games surpassing Asamoah Gyan's 109.

Andre Ayew was part of Coach Otto Addo first eleven selection when they defeated Switzerland 2-0 in Abu Dhabi as part of preparation towards the World Cup.

Netting 23 goals for the Black Stars, the skipper was gifted a customized 110 scripted Black Stars jersey as he becomes the seventh top goal scorers for the senior national team.

He leads the team at the World Cup as they face Portugal, South Korea and Uruguay.

The team is expected to depart to Doha for the World Cup which starts on Sunday, 20th November.
