Volta Rangers sat at home to draw levels 1-1 with experienced Tema Youth in the match day 3 fixture.
Tema Youth scored first in the first half after a lack of concentration from the defense of Volta Rangers but failed to hold on the lead as a late equalizer from Rangers denied them their first win.
Despite a fought back from Volta Rangers after recess, Tema Youth efforts to remain in the lead at half time yielded positive.
One name on the lips of the hundreds of fans at the stadium was goal keeper Iddrisu Sulemana. The young goalie made several saves to keep Volta Rangers in the game. One that forced the teaming fans to rise on their feet was a grab he made in the air after a free kick was awarded Tema Youth.
Iddrisu Sulemana dived in the air to grab the ball before falling off to deny the ball entering the net.
The save from the goalie becomes one of many kinds he have made on his journey to become one of the best goalies in the country.
24hourssports.com checks has it that, an eminent call up from the National U20 is due should he continue making these fine saves.
