| Vora FC visits Volta Rangers ahead of Volta FA division 2 final |
The management of Vora Football Club on Saturday July 2 presented packs of bottled water and assorted drinks as support for Volta Rangers ahead of the Volta FA division 2 middle league final with Agbogba FC.
In what was a short ceremony, the team manager for Vora FC Foster Osei who led the delegation in handing over the items to the people's club, commended Volta Rangers for their sterling performance after reaching the grande finale in the middle league. He however encouraged Volta Rangers to go all out to bring the division one slot to Ho by beating their counterparts on Sunday 3rd July.
"I'm here with the rest of the management of Vora FC to present these items to the entire team to show our support for Volta Rangers. The team has done well to appear in the final and as a club from the central zone we want to assure you that, our support is for Volta Rangers and we want you to go all out to win come tomorrow so that, the division one slot will remain in Ho. Even though the items are not enough, we hope you accept them."
Reacting to the kind gesture, the team manager for Volta Rangers, Mr. Worlanyo Akude thanked the management of Vora FC for their gesture as he indicated the presentation was right in time ahead of their crunch encounter with Agbogba FC.
"I would like to thank the management of Vora FC for the presentation this afternoon, we appreciate their gesture and believe that, the presentation has come at the right time as it will help motivate the boys in camp"
The Director for Volta Rangers, Ahiekpor Jonathan also thanked Vora Football Club for coming on board to support. Advising the clubs in the region to emulate the kind gesture of Vora FC also said, clubs must unite to fight for a common goal.
"Come next year, whether we qualify or not, let us be seen supporting each other and not be rivals, football is for development and that is what Volta Rangers want, we want to do football to develop the region in diverse ways"
The presentation from Vora FC according to the Director, is the beginning of a partnership between the two clubs.
"This i think is the beginning of a great partnership and I believe we are going to build on it, we appreciate your support and we are grateful for the gesture you have done on us" he said.
Volta Rangers will face Agbogba FC in the grande finale of the Volta FA division 2 middle league at the Ho Sports Stadium at 3pm.
