Agbogba FC squashed their opponents in group A to find themselves in the grand finale of the Volta FA division 2 middle league. They defied all odds to beat Vora FC, Young Desert Warriors and drawing Roberto FC in group A fixtures to book a date with Volta Rangers in the final.

The quest to qualify to the national division 1 league has never been in doubt, Agbogba FC holds the records of going unbeatean from the Southern Sector A Zone A (W10, L0, D4)

The coastal boys have had a tremendous performance having record two wins and a draw to accrue seven points in the middle league (W2, D1)

Despite being undefeated, Agbogba's defence has been inconsistent and is sometimes questioned in a number of times having conceded twice in games against Young Desert Warriors and Vora FC.

However, coach Aleru Sarafa will count on his duo, Moses Amemasor and Cletus Akpalu to pull up the strings.

It was no coincidence that they became winners of Group A, the coastal lads will at this moment wish for nothing than picking the only slot to represent Volta Region in Division 1.

Sarafa has kept faith in his boys in the 4-1-3-2 formation, at a time, varies to 5-4-1 defensive system which has helped him in wins against Young Desert Warriors and Vora FC respectively.

Agbogba will be expected to deploy similar strategy against a very good side, Volta Rangers.

Volta Rangers won the hearts of many football enthusiast with their play on the turf.

After beating Akatsi Kickers and Sharp SC, they drew with enterprising Trinity Stars to qualify to the final. (W2, L0, D1)

Volta Rangers have managed a clean sheet in all games with a solid defense to their advantage. They come to the final as fans favourite and will have the full support from the stands cheering them to victory.

Coach Denis Danso's Volta Rangers will count on his defense to ward off any attacks as he will hope his front liners convert all chances into goals. Safianu Usman, Ati Sena and Justice Akugre partnership up front has become dangerous for opponents to contend as in the case of their midfield led by Hafiz Rahman who has enjoyed great strides so far.

Goal Keeper, Iddrisu Suleman in post of Volta Rangers means, Agbogba would have to come up with a different strategy to outwit a keeper tipped to win the player of the tournament.

Head coach Denis Danso will be looking forward to seal his unbeaten run in the group to ensure his side gets the nod to the National Division One.

A traditional 4-3-3 formation by Rangers is expected to be deployed with the top three having inter positional play up front.
