HMFA MIDDLE LEAGUE: Royal Professionals belittle Power Stars while Kotokoli come-back sends the Lions into dungeon

 

Royal Professionals placed Power Stars in their right position after beating the boys from Klefe 2-0 in the HMFA Middle League match day two 

The Ho Sports Stadium became the center of attraction in the on going Ho Municipal football division three middle league.

Match day two saw off two games as Takla Royal Professionals went home with the bragging right in a contest that saw Power Stars from Klefe begging on their knees in a fashionable 2-0 scoreline.

A penalty awarded the Royals in the 31' was neatly taken by Avonyo Koffi. The goal brought some life into the game as Power Stars were seen parading pressure to equalize. 

Many chances fell on the toes of the Klefe lads but found no pleasure in scoring.

Mawuli Gavor came to the party to increase the lead to two after scoring a well rehearsed free kick in the 76' to send the game to a close.

Earlier, Tem Kotokoli showed its true colors in a win described as a fierced encounter. Kpedze Super Lions were served with a sweet meal in the 4' after goal Keeper, Iddrisu Nasiru committing a blunder which benefited Sena Bless to net in the opener for Super Lions FC.

Kotokoli worked hard to have an equalizer in the 45' to end the first half one all.

Super Lions could not hold the forth as Kotokoli registered the second goal in the game. The promising Kotokoli got blessed with chances to have added more goals but remained sluggish. Super Lions hope was restored as they leveled the score in the 68'. 

A game that many thought could end in a draw rather took a different twist to see Kotokoli doing the Lord's work by scoring the winner in the dying embers of the game. The game ended 3-2 in favour of Tem Kotokoli.
