Sarafa welcomes play-off, says Agbogba will not miss this chance

Head coach of Agbogba FC has welcome the news for the play offs to the 1st division.

The Ghana Football Association's Executive Council yesterday decided to organize a play- offs among three teams from Greater Accra, Volta and Eastern Region respectively. 

The play-off was as a result of Inter Allies demotion to the Division 2 after a said match fixing involving Ashgold and Inter Allies.

Agbogba FC will have a second chance to make it to the division one if they beat their counterparts, Na God FC and Susubribi FC in a round robin play-off format.

Speaking with the head coach of Agbogba FC, Sarafa says the news was a welcoming one, as he insists the second chance offered them will not be missed this time round.

"I'm very happy about the news. This is another opportunity to qualify, I tell you this second chance will not be missed"

Responding to questions posed by 24hourssports.com, the head coach who led Agbogba FC to the grande final of the Volta FA division 2 middle league said, players have been called back to camp to start preparing ahead of the play offs.

"We have recalled the players to report in camp as soon as possible, there is no injury in camp so training resume tomorrow"

Volta Rangers beat Agbogba FC 1-0 in the finals of the Volta FA regional middle league to qualify to the first division.

A win for Agbogba FC will see them to the division one come next season.

GFA is yet to fix a date and venue for the play-offs.
