| 10,000 seater capacity T&A sports stadium currently under construction in Tarkwa |
Ghana's Premier League outfit, Medeama SC will in no time return to the Tarkwa and Abosso (T&A) stadium when it is duly completed.
The stadium, financed by the Gold Fields Company Limited is part of their Coperate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities.
The T&A stadium when completed, will become one of the the best serving ground for home matches of Tarkwa based teams as well as national matches of any kind.
The project which is estimated at the coat of GH¢65 million will house 10,000 spectators. Other facilities to be found in the stadium includes ICT Center, restaurants etc.
The MP for Tarkwa Nsuaem, Hon. George Mireku-Duker is credited for lobbying this project from Gold Fields Company Limited to the people of Tarkwa.
