| Eight teams paired in group A and B ahead of regional middle league |
The Volta Regional Football Association yesterday June 20, met all qualified teams to a draw ahead of its regional middle league.
The league scheduled to start on June 27 to 3rd July is expected to promote one team to the national Division one league.
The organising committee of the Football Association however cast their draws to pair the respective teams in groups made of A and B.
Last season, Akatsi All Stars were eventual champions to pick the only available division one slot from the region. They defied all odds to remain in the 1st division to make a case for teams from Volta Region.
This season, 8 teams will square it off at the Ho Sports Stadium in a one week fun-filled football action.
