Vora washed and dye Dynamo; Zion shooters shot to disunite Oti Warriors while Kickers kicked out Hands Are Blessed on a blessed Sunday

The Volta Regional Div 2 league 1st round of action came to an end on Sunday, 10th April 2022 across all league centers.

In Central Sector A and B, Vora crowned the day with a win against sluggish Dynamo FC. A tactical Vora sealed the day with 2-1 victory. Striker Atsu Mensah became the hero after his brace put a lasting smile on the faces of the hundreds of Vora fans who came to the stadium. Center referee Selase Banor whistled for a foul in Vora's danger zone. An instance that became controversial, was gifted as a penalty for Dynamo who seemed to have found their energy back after leveling from the spot kick. Jahand Ake sweet cross found Atsu Mensah in a  close range, a fine tap in from the hitman ended the entire 90' a 2-1 result. 

ads. Adonai Estate LimitedSelion FC who played on Saturday prestigiously stole the day after seeing off Abutia Prestige. The Abutia lads were too soft to break the teeth of the Lions whose energy on the day was enough to ride over their foe in a game ending 2-0. Volta Rangers ran riot on Maranatha, beating them in a disturbing 4-1 scoreline. A brace from Akugre Justice made the magic for the Kodjobi boys.

Elsewhere in the Southern Sectors, Kickers FC blessed their kicks in a 2-0 stunning against Hands Are Blessed. Kickers took the lead in the early hours of the game. Abdullah Yasin made no mistake to convert the goal.

Soccer Wonders from Aveyime travelled all the way to Mepe and won against their fellows, 2-1. A win that became the surprise of the week left Mepe United shocked after the 90'.

Zion Shooters from the Northern Sectors action, shot down Oti Warriors in a fashionable 2-1 win. The noisy Yadzo fans were made to sleep rather too early after Zion Shooters victory which turned Yadzo township silent.

Aquah Forces were held to 1-1 draw with Sons of Thunder. The forces who seemed to have come in full force could not tame the thunders.

It was Oti United that went down twice as Young Desert Warriors 2-0 became a bitter pill for the home team.
