Vora, a division 2 club in Ho, has had a Memorandum of Understanding meeting with the University of Health and Allied Sciences, marking a new life for both Vora and the school.

The management of players health care is essential to the development of the game, thus the need for experts to routinely check on players health, injuries on and off the pitch.
The Dean of faculty, the School of Sports and Exercise Medicine, Professor Eric Ofori at the short ceremony held at the school's faculty conference room, explained how the partnership all started. He indicated that the partnership will serve as a way of giving back to the community.

"We had a visit from Vora who wanted us to partner with them. We welcome the idea and saw it as a service to the community and also a way of bringing up the scientific ideas and expertise"
The president of the club, Mr. Bonaventure Aguissi thanked the Dean and the UHAS for accepting to partner them to bring out the best in Vora.
Speaking at the meeting, the business man who had earlier apologized for the late meeting promised the club will do its best to ensure the partnership runs successfully.
"I really appreciate UHAS for the partnership and the opportunity given us. I am also confident that, the partnership will go a long way to benefit us."
Present at the meeting was also the former Spokesperson for the late Ex President John Evans Atta Mills whose establishment of the University of Health and Allied Sciences is already 10 years.
Vora FC faces a tough test on Sunday at the Ho Sports Stadium in the ongoing Regional Div 2 league. They come up with foes, Dynamo FC in the Central Zone A top liner fixture.
