The football governing body for Volta Region has announce with league fixtures the start of its flagship regional league.
The division 2 which is played across the Volta and Oti regions will see 62 teams competing for the only Division 1 slot in the region.
Officially, March 5 is set for the start of the Regional league, but per the fixtures available to 24hourssports.com, one match is scheduled to kick off on Friday 4th March 2022.
In all, the league is grouped into 8 sectors with with accompanying zones. Teams topping their respective zones in each sector qualifies to the regional middle league after all round of matches played.
Sectors include Northern Sector A Zone A, Northern Sector B Zone A, Central Sector Zone A, Central Sector Zone B, Southern Sector A Zone A, Southern Sector A Zone B, Southern Sector B Zone A and Southern Sector B Zone B.
