Sosu Sports Project to renovate major pitches in Madina for sports development

Hon. Francis-Xavier Sosu, the member of Parliament for Madina constituency earlier today launched a sports project in Madina as part of helping develop sports in his constituency.

In an interaction with the media about the sports project, the Hon Member of Parliament revealed that, the sports project will seek for sponsorship to have major pitches in each electoral areas developed. This he said will also enable the various teams in each electoral areas to play on a standard pitch.

"The project will monitor all the sports facilities in Madina. We will seek sponsorship to ensure all major pitches in every electoral areas are greened and become a standard pitch for our local tournament"

The law maker believes parliamentarians most often are unable to have a full idea of what happens in their constituencies, however he agreed that, these projects helps them to have a full knowledge of the happenings in their constituencies by guiding them to also come on board to help.

"As a member of Parliament, it's not all the things in your constituency you may know, but if you have a strategic projects like this, it will help you know the full insight into what is happening in that disciplines so that you can also contribute to the growth of the discipline."

Francis-Xavier Sosu assuring the public aimed at having a target that will build a lasting project by way of having a clear cut governance structure in sustaining and expanding the sports project.

"My goal is to build to last, and building to last means that, you must have a clear cut governance structure that allows you to manage the project well, monitor the project well and be able to develop new way of expanding the project"

The opening of the sports project was climaxed with a friendly match involving Madina select side and Oyarifa select side with team Madina beating their fellows by a lone goal.
