| Hon. Francis-Xavier Sosu to launch a maiden sports project in Madina to unearth talents in his constituency |
The Member of Parliament for Madina, Hon. Francis-Xavier Sosu is set to launch a sports project in his constituency.
The project dubbed Sosu Sports Project is under the theme, Developing the Community Through Sports.
In an interview with the Director of sports for the project, Hon. Romeo Asare explained that, the initiative sought to unearth and harness talents within Madina Municipality. Explaining further, he said the project will seek to initiate a competitive league amongst the 15 electoral areas with each electoral areas represented by a team.

Sports has remained undoubtedly, a powerful tool for development, it has empowered the youths in various communities and as well help shaped their careers. It is for this reason, the member of Parliament for Madina has come up with this initiative to develop the communities under his constituency through sports.
The project, in a league format will be in two zones namely, Oyarifa Zone and Madina Zone. Winners of the zones will play in the super zonals at the Madina Astro Turf with scouts present to select talented players.
The launch is scheduled for 12th March, 2022 with an opening match between Madina select side and Oyarifa select side.
