The Volta Regional Football Association is organizing referees workshop and fitness test exercise for the class 1,2 and 3 referees in the region.
This form part of the Volta Regional football association preparation towards the up coming division 2 league set to start of 19th February this year.
Regional and National referees instructors at the workshop took the referees through the Amendment Law 2021-2022 season.
The referees present at the workshop were also taught the proper way of writing a match report after match day.
Other areas touched include the challenges/ technical fouls by players, handball offences, offside offences etc.
The workshop which is currently on going at the Mawuli Senior High School auditorium was well attended by referees from Oti and Volta Region respectively.
Tomorrow 13th February, referees will undergo the fitness test exercise to select referees fit for the regional football games.
The two day activities organised by the Volta Regional Football Asssociation ends on 13th February 2022.
