Black Stars gets video analyst and three other technical staff for AFCON

Ahead of the African Cup of Nations in Cameroon, Ghana Football Association has made additions to beef up the technical team with a video analyst, assistant coach and two scouts.

Awal Salifu, a video analyst formerly of Right to Dream Academy in Ghana and Nordsjaelland FC has joined the Black Stars camp as the video analyst for the team. Also,  Mike Stankovic who was part of Milo's 2010 World Cup days in South Africa has been appointed to step in for Otto Addo who will not make the trip to Cameroon due to club's committment with Borusia Dortmund. 

The experienced Serbian/American coach is expected to add his rich knowledge of the game to help Coach Milo win the trophy in Cameroon. Two scouts, names withheld have been tasked to study opponents to enable Milovan Rajevac and his technical team map a good strategy for the Black Stars.

Ghana opens their AFCON campaign on Monday, 10th January 2022 at 4:00pm GMT at the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium.
