Enam Dagadu goes for Ghana Boxing Federation Executive Member position


Foster Enam Dagadu, president of Ghana Boxing Authority for Volta and Oti regions, he also double as the Chairman of Volta Boxing Federation

The president of Ghana Boxing Authority for Volta and Oti regions has told 24hourssports.com, his readiness to contest for the Executive Member position of the Ghana Boxing Federation.

In an interview he granted, Enam who is the  Regional Chairman of the Volta Boxing Federation said, it was time to take up the Executive position.

"I have decided to as a matter of fact wanted to contest for the Executive Member position of the federation. I see myself as a qualified person to be an Executive Member. Indeed, I am the chairman of the federation in the Volta Region and my works as the chairman is there for all to see"

Foster Enam Dagadu as the chairman of the boxing federation in the Volta region ensured boxing became the household name in the region, under his tenure, boxing bouts were held in the regional Capital, a history he chalked, boxing again was held in Keta, Dzodze and also some notable areas.

He help secured boxing rings for the region with a trainer to help the youth in boxing  acquire the needed skills in the sport.

The former sports presenter holds a post graduate degree from the Ghana Institute of Project Management. He also obtained a bachelor degree from Trans Africa University College, a Diploma in journalism from Doxa University College and an MBA from Accra Business School.

Enam when given the nod, has promised to include amateur boxing in schools and college sports competitions in order to create opportunity for the coaches in the discipline.

Voting is scheduled to come off on the 18th of December, 2021.
