The frenzied atmosphere at the Ho Sports Stadium yesterday October 10 when Soccer Family emerged champions of the Ho Municipal Football Division 3 Middle League will go in the history of Municipal Football as one that never happened.

Fans of the Tsito based team went agog when Soccer Family beat White Dove in the penalty shootouts qualifying to Division 2 in the process.

The virginity of the game remained unbroken in the 90' duration as both teams failed to utilize the chances created.

White Dove enjoyed greater ball possession in the first half, with insightful passing of the ball as Dzah Manasseh on two occasions failing to score from close range after blowing the ball wide over the goal post

Soccer Family came into the game after half time with full force, creating a couple of chances to take the lead, but all efforts wasted.

There was little to count for in the dying minutes as it became a ding ding affair with an evenly display of football.

Center referee, Selase Banor after 2' additional time ended the game to make way for the shootouts.

Soccer Family won on penalties as they beat White Dove 5-4 to be crowned champions and also  picking the only qualification slot to Division 2.

Dzah Manasseh with 9 goals in the league, became the top goal scorer going home with the Golden Boot award and also adjudged 'Stanley Glate' King of the tournament. The most promising team went to Dzemeni Young Stars in the just ended Ho Municipal Football Division 3 Middle League.
