Home Stars FC assistant coach, Kofi Atiso tendered in his resignation from Home Stars as the assistant coach of the club
Kofi Atiso served as an assistant coach to Christian Chibueze in the 2020/21 season of the Volta Regional Division 2 league.
In an interview with Talksense Sports, Kofi Atiso cited reasons for his resignation as personal, but further revealed that, the head coach of the club have failed to respect him as the assistant coach of the club.
"I have personal reasons for resigning. I cannot work for Home Stars again. Well, one of the reasons is because the head coach Mourinho doesn't respect me, he doesn't also have a clean heart working with me. I don't know how I can work with him. It's sad it is this way, but I have to resign." Atiso said
Home Stars lost to Akatsi All Stars in the final bout of the Volta Regional Division 2 middle league at the Ho Sports Stadium where the Akatsi based team beat Home Stars 4-2 on penalties to qualify to Division 1.
Many have accused the top hierarchy of the club of using black magic, a move that saw their lead striker Roland Numeyah missing from the starting line up.
Meanwhile, Eze has opted not to respond to the developing story in the camp of Home Stars FC.
