Coach of Home Stars Football Club has disclosed in a heart warming message of how difficult things have been and the disappointment that has come with the ultimate target to have qualify the team to Division 1.

Home Stars dream got shattered at the final stage of qualification to Division 1 through a 3-1 penalty won by Akatsi All Stars.

It was a heart breaking moment for thousands of fans who came to the Ho Sports Stadium to support the Ho based team to victory.

Christian Chibueze, Eze as he is also called in a statement shared on his Twitter handle has revealed how he finds it difficult to sleep, with threats from some of the fans coupled with depression he has been through these past days.

"Our loss in the final is one that I am battling with as I go through severe nightmares, sleepless night, depression and threats from section of the fans"

Eze who was not given the benefit of doubt of taking Home Stars FC this far said, "when I took up the role as a head coach of Home Stars FC, many did not see me going far with the team I had in my disposal and I understood the challenges that lay ahead in a difficult time for the club. The journey has not been easy and despite the challenges, I fought through with my players who all believed in what we were doing and in me"  

The club under the guidance of Christian Chibueze has recorded only 2 losses, drawing 3 in 14 games and having 9 wins to his credit. The young coach in his message to the fans said lessons have been learnt  believing that, it will make him stronger for what the future will bring promising to be back stronger.

"Personally, lots of lessons has been learnt this season and I believe this will prepare me stronger for the future. For what the future holds for me. I can promise everyone that this is not the end for me as a young coach and I will be back stronger"

Christian Chibueze in his concluding remarks thanked the life patron and owner of the club, Mr. Joe Ayivor, the management of Home Stars FC, technical team, fans and all who supported in the just ended of the Regional Division 2 middle league.

"I want to thank Mr. Joe Ayivor (Afe Lotto), the management, players, my technical team, fans and everyone at the club for their hard work and dedication, especially in these unprecedented and challenging times".
