Moro Iddrisu quits refereeing to 'prevent unforseen circumstances'

Moro Iddrisu who is also a Police Officer has announced retiring from officiating 


A class one referee Moro Iddrisu has announced in a WhatsApp message his retirement as a referee.

He broke the news on Volta Regional Referees' WhatsApp platform citing reasons he termed as 'preventing unforseen circumstances'.

"I'm with a heavy heart to inform the whole house my resignation as a referee. I think it is in the best interest to quit as not to bring forth unforeseen circumstances."

Appealing for forgiveness to those he may have disappointed, the Class One referee prayed for God's protection on all his supporters.

"To those I have disappointed I say sorry. May the good Lord continue to guide and protect each and everyone who supported me during my course as a referee."

The Police Officer has officiated high profiled matches in the Ghana Division 1 League.
