Home Stars not ruling out on Division 1 league campaign

Management of Home Stars FC held a press briefing at the Ho Sports Stadium to outlined a number of issues after failing qualification to Division 1.

The management during the press, thanked its supporters, the media, and all stakeholders especially the people of Ho who thronged the Ho Sports Stadium on Sunday for the emense support.

The press statement read by the chairman of the club, Mr. Divine Bosson outlined a number of issues the club has decided to embark on. Some of them include, the opening of the club's ultra modern office complex, the launch of the club website etc.

Mr. Bosson indicated the readiness of Home Stars to bounce back to contest in the 2021/22 Division 1 league campaign. He revealed in a press statement the club has not ruled out the possibility of playing in the Division 1 league come next season adding that, Ho Sports Stadium will be the match venue. 

"Ladies and Gentlemen of the press, even though we could not qualify for Division One, we are not yet ruled out of the possibility of participating in the next Division One League with Ho Sports Stadium as our home base."

Calling for partnership, Mr. Bosson called on the stakeholders to come together to work towards having a Division One club in Ho, stating that, sports help to boost economic activities.

"We must all be willing to be partners on this journey to have a Division One team in Ho, because sports helps in socio-economic aspects of human life."

Touching on player transfer, Mr. Bosson told the press some soccer agents abroad and Clubs in the country have shown interest in some of the Home Stars players, this he said, an official communication will be made on the outcome of the deal.



"On transfer of some of our players, some major clubs in Ghana and agents abroad are already in negotiations with management. We will update the public about the outcome of the deal at the right time"

Home Stars lost 3-1 on penalties to Akatsi All Stars denying the Soccer Apostles the qualification slot to the National Division One League.
