Home Stars and Volta Rangers faces uphill test as Sons of Thunder and Akatsi All Stars develop interest in division 1 slot

The quest to qualifying to the national division 1 league continues unabated as teams with common interests battle for glory in the Volta Regional middle league.

Ho based Homestars will play the dicider of Group B on Friday, 3pm at the Stadium against Sons of Thunder, as both are tied on 6 points apiece.

The results between Bebeto's game against Agbogba Fc also at 3pm at the Barracks Park on Friday will not make any impact, as the 2 wounded lions in the hands of Homestars and Sons of Thunder.. 

Meanwhile, in Group A three (3) teams, are in contention to top and head for the play-off on Sunday against winner of Group B. 

Yadzo Oti Warriors, bottom with a point plays Roberto Fc,  who have 3 points at the Barracks Park at 1pm. 

Concurrently, Akatsi All Stars with 3 points, plays top of the table, Volta Rangers at the Ho Sports Stadium. 

With head-to-head rules, Roberto Fc will pray Volta Rangers loses against Akasti All Stars, while Rangers also hopes Yadzo beats Roberto Fc. 

Akasti all Stars however will only wish for a draw or a win for Yadzo in their game against Roberto, so they defeat Rangers. 

It is going to be an interesting Friday match-ups as the sole slot battle to division 1 gradually draws closer to an end.
