GO Sports Academy are first time winners of the HMFA Juvenile League for 2020/21 season |
The Ho Municipal Football Association has crowned GO Sports Academy as winners of its juvenile league.
The sports academy won in all categories, U13, U15 and U17 respectively to emerge as champions of the 2020/21 juvenile league season.
Earlier today, the Ho Municipal Football Association led by its chairman, Foster Kudiabor, presented the trophy to the GO Sports Academy having defied all odds to lift the ultimate.
In an interview with the founder of the academy, Mr. George Ofori expressed joy for the feat the boys have achieved, describing the feeling as great, he believe a time will come when proper investment is done, there will be aboundance of success.
"I feel great and happy which to me, it tells me that one day we would harvest good results when we invest well"
Disclosing the plans and vision for the academy to 24hourssports.com, the founder indicated that, plans are far advanced to enabling a serene and conducive atmosphere for education and learning aside the God given talent which is football.
"Going forward, my vision is to make the academy one of the best, excellent and serene place to learn as a footballer with Education our paramount concern"
George through juvenile football, has been able to bring back boys who have resorted to streetism, this he said has help shaped the young boys to unearthed their football talents.
He called on the support of the people of Ho West to come on board to help ensure the children are given the opportunity to realise their dream.
GO Sports Academy will represent the Municipal in the regional U17 championship.
