If wishes were horses, beggars will ride; I wish we could qualify - Prezo

Foster Osei 'Prezo' Vora FC Team Manager

Vora FC dream of qualifying to the Volta Regional middle league was shut after losing 2-1 to their counterparts, Volta Rangers in the just ended sub middle league played at the Ho Sports Stadium in the Central Zone.

Team Manager for Vora FC, Foster Osei also known in the football industry as 'Prezo' has taken to proverb to wish how horses would ride if wishes were one. The astute football administrator despite proud of his boys and the team, expressed regret for not making it to the next stage.

"If wishes were horses, beggars will ride, I wish we could qualify"

Speaking on Swiss FM on Monday Sports segment hosted by Raymond Kudjoe Tsiagbe, the respected football administrator revealed Vora FC ousting from the sub middle league was not a failed attempt and thus the team will come back stronger next season.

"For me, it's not a failed attempt, for you to assemble people, amidst Covid, keeping them, feeding them, housing them, paying them, giving them bonuses and going the extra mile to be with them to feel that you really appreciate what they are doing for them to get to where they've gotten to, I am satisfied as a team manager"

Describing himself as a proud person for the feat his boys have attained, Prezo said he can walk shoulder high and argue with any football person anywhere for a project he started has seen an uplift.

"I'm proud of myself and I can walk shoulder high and argue with any football administrator in this region or beyond that I started a project and I have gotten to somewhere, it's a work in progress and I will come back hard next season" he ended.

Vora FC played in the Regional Division 2 league, falling second to Dynamo FC in group B to qualify to the sub middle league. Both teams from group B failed to pick a slot in the middle league as Home Stars and Volta Rangers from group A beat their fellow counterparts 2-0 and 2-1 scorelines respectively to end their hopes of going through to the next round.

Vora FC according to Prezo will come back stronger next season to make a claim in the quest of qualifying to Division 1.
