Ho Municipal Division 3 league set to start on July 10

The Ho Municipal Football Association has set aside July 10 2021 to start its Municipal Football league.

This comes at the back of a decision in a consultative meeting held with the stakeholders and club owners/administrators at the Ho Sports Stadium on 23 June, 2021.

In the meeting, the chairman of the Ho Municipal Football Association, Forster Kudiagbor in his welcome remarks, advised all club administrators to educate their club sympathizers to desist from attacking visiting teams and Match Officials, this he said sanction shall be imposed on which ever club found insighting fans against Match Officials or visiting teams.

"We all know football is a game of passion, also, football is a game that unite us together and not to be at war with ourselves, the association will sanction any club or team that insights its fans against Match Officials or the visiting teams, we will not entertain any kind of football hooliganism"

He further touched on the need for clubs to fully get their venue ready as he indicated, the Association's Technical Team will soon visit match venues for inspection

"The technical team will visit match venues to inspect the fields, all are advised to ensure their respective venues are in good condition for matches" 

Other issues discussed at the meeting include  Match Officiation fees, short open of manual player registration which was agreed by all clubs due to the delay in the issuance of the player biometric cards.

A GH¢ 70.00 shall be paid by the home team on every match day as Match Officiating fee. In all, 18 clubs will participate in the up coming Ho Municipal Division 3 league.

The Ho Municipal Football Association officially introduced its new Secretary, in the name of Kwame Ahadzi after the demise of the former secretary, Christian Dogbey also known as Togbe Kpeglo.
