Wilson Akakpo donates training kits to Home Stars Football Club

 

Randy Edudzi Ahadzi donating a set of jersey to Home Stars FC on behalf of Wilson Akakpo


Togolese International, Wilson Akakpo made a donation to Home Stars FC, a Regional division 2 side which plays in the Volta Regional Division 2 league. 


As part of giving back to the very place he started his career as a football player, the former Hotsteel FC defender decided to donate set of training jerseys to Home Stars FC after making similar donation to Selion FC in the past.




Randy Edudzi Ahadzi presenting the jersey to the club on behalf of Wilson Akakpo, revealed the reason behind the donation, stating that, the kind gesture was aimed at helping football clubs to brand and market themselves by wearing a uniformed kit, this he said other presentations will be extended to the Vora Football Club and Dynamo Football Club respectively.


"This presentation is to help the clubs to brand and market themselves well by wearing a uniformed kits during training. It will not end here, Wilson Akakpo will also donate to clubs such as Vora Football Club, Dynamo FC and others "


Home Stars who were at the receiving end of Akakpo's donation was advised to be disciplined and train hard to achieve their target as players.


"It is important to take your training very seriously, be committed and be disciplined as players, on behalf of Wilson Akakpo, he wishes you well in the up coming Division 2 league" Randy said.



Recieving the items for Home Stars, Coach 'Azonke' as popularly called thanked Wilson Akakpo for the gesture.


"We thank Wilson Akakpo for the kind gesture, it is our wish that, he excel in all his football career and become a global icon" 


Donating the items on behalf of Wilson Akakpo, Randy Edudze Ahadzie handed over 23 pieces of training jerseys which includes Keepers jersey to Home Stars.

Akpako plays for Al-Najaf FC in the Iraqi top flight League.
