Match Preview: Porcupine Warriors faces an uphill task in Nzema

Johnson Smith leads Kotoko to face Karela United at home in week 13 league fixture of the Ghana Premier League

It's a juicy one to watch out for  in the ongoing Ghana Premier League between league leaders Karela United and third placed Asante Kotoko at the fearsome Crosby Awuah Memorial  park.

The home side have seen an upturn in form and fortunes unlike a season past where they were seriously battling relegation but for the outbreak of coronavirus their blushes were spurred.

The Nzema - Aiyinase based side under the able leadership of Evans Adotey, have so far won all six home games, scoring 14 and conceding 3, an impressive results for a title ambitious side.

Kotoko on the hand have not been at their consistent best, something Johnson Smith, who is familiar with the CAM park will be willing to change starting from Sunday's tough fixture.

If there's something, the Porcupine Warriors can be proud off, it's the fact that, they have amassed 10 points from 6 away games joint best in the current campaign.

The away side will be heavily dependent on Kwame Opoku, who has since found the back of the net five times whiles Diawusie Taylor and Kwame Boateng have combined armory to score fourteen goals for their side in 12 games.

The pair have won one each in three competitive meetings with the other ending in a stalemate.

Prediction: Karela United 3-1 Asante Kotoko
