Match Preview: The fallen Oak tree poised to rise over the Royals in week 13 league fixture

Hearts will face Legon Cities tonight at 6pm

Accra Hearts of Oak are in a precarious situation and it's unheard of, for the capital based club to lose two consecutive matches in recent times, but the fate of Hearts of Oak remains as that currently.

The team started very well under new coach Kosta Papic, the man that led the club to their last league triumph a decade ago. Brushing Dreams, Bechem United aside amongst other results were seen as the turning point in the fortunes of the club but recent losses to bitter regional rivals Great Olympics and an away loss to Medeama SC has certainly bruised the Oak boys.

This week, they face off a resurgent, Legon Cities FC side in Week 13 of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League the Accra Sports Stadium.

The away side gave former Ghana Premier League champions Ashgold the beating of their lives, as well as, picking a point to Karela United which has aided them to pick 9 points from a possible 15.

The likes of Victor Aidoo(4), K.Obeng(3), U.Manaf(3) have scored 10 goals but would have to up their proficiency in goals in order to help their side to an admirable finish.

The Rainbow Club are the 11th on the table with 16 points while Legon Cities FC sit 14th with 13 points.
