| Ghana Premier League and Division One League results |
Match day 11 of the Ghana Premier League were honoured across all league centers over the weekend. Hearts of Oak were handed a shock by their city rivals Great Olympics, scoring the Phobians 0-2 at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday night. The win becomes the first since 17 years Great Olympics won Hearts in the Ghana Premier League.
In Obuasi, Ashgold and Kotoko had to settle for a goalles draw at the Len Clay Sports Stadium. The draw by both sides in the regional derby has seen Kotoko rise to second with 17 points on the league table.
It was WAFA who proved their mettle against the Scientific Soccer lads at the Red Bull Arena, 5 goals were enough to fetch all the 3 points for the Sogakope based club. Liberty Professionals has suffered 3 defeats in a row in their last outings of the Ghana Premier League.
The national division one league also recorded some interesting results. Agbozume Weavers poor run in the division one league continuous unabated as they lost at home to Danbort FC in Sogakope. Hearts of Lions winning streak was ended by Tema Youth after the 'Akpini' were handed a 2-0 defeat in week 4 of the division one league
