'Chief' Justice Blay 'sentenced' Hearts to more agony at Akoon Park

 

Justice Blay's header powers Medeama to another victory at Akoon Park


Accra Hearts of Oak were delt yet another blow to their title ambitions after losing away to Medeama SC by 1-0 on Thursday afternoon at the Akoon Park. 


The rainbow club were looking forward to remedy their weekend home loss at the hands of Accra Great Olympics likewise the Mauve and Yellow side, who were also looking to getting a better result after losing their week 11 'Nzema derby' encounter to table toppers, Karela United.


The first half saw both sides test each other's prowess but in the end there was relatively nothing to choose amongst the pair when centre referee Rustum Gameli Senorgbe called for the end of the first half session. 


Upon resumption of the second half, not later than five minutes Medeama's poster boy, Justice Blay scored from a cross from teammate, Agyenim Boateng for his side in what eventually turned out to be the match winner. 


The results sees Medeama placed on the 9th position whiles the visiting side drop to 10th place marking back-to-back defeats in the ongoing Ghana Premier League.
