Aduana Stars pipped Kotoko 1-0 at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday night in week 10 fixture of the GHPL

Aduana Stars 1-0 win against Kumasi Asante Kotoko in the match day 10 of the Ghana Premier League has denied the reds from being at the summit of the league table.

The Ogya Boys second half goal  courtesy Samuel Bio was enough to fetch all three points at the Accra Sports Stadium on the Sunday night football.

Ahead of the game, many believed Kotoko would carry the day after winning Ebusua Dwarfs in Kumasi over the mid week outstanding game.

The loss means Kotoko still lie six on the log as Aduana Stars are second after picking all three points. Five teams; Kotoko, Ashgold, Hearts, Bechem United and Aduana Stars have 16 points accumulation as Karela remains first on the table with 18 points with two points clear.

Care taker coach, Johnson Smith has tested first defeat in the Ghana Premier League since appointed as the interim coach of Kotoko.
