Liberty welcome Legon Cities in week seven game

Liberty lock horns with Legon Cities in match day seven

Liberty Professionals will host Legon Cities over the weekend at the Dansoman Carl Reindorff Park.

Both clubs have not had the best of impressive starts to the league, the home side have not lost a game at home this season, something they will look to preserve and hold on to when they play the Royals over the weekend.

They have since picked 5 points at home from a possible nine, a win against Great Olympics and taking two points off Bechem United and Eleven Wonders.

Bashir Hayford has a big task on his hands, taking over a side that signed a plethora of players (12) in the summer, notably the inclusion of Ghanaian legend, Asamoah "BabyJet'' Gyan, have not been able to hit top strides due to fitness, injuries and other variables besseting the side.

If fit, Asamoah, will be facing the side that shot his professional career into ascendancy some seventeen(17) years ago, in what will be an intriguing duel at the Carl Reindorff Park.

In the last five years, both clubs have met on eight separate occasions, the scientific soccer lads have notched three victories, the royals pitching one and the remaining ending in draws.

Predictions : Liberty Professionals 2-0 Legon Cities
