The West African Football Academy (WAFA) has announced the passing of their marketing consultant, Joost Bellaart.
The club on their official Twitter handle has in the hours of yesterday, December 29, 2020 broke the news about the demise of Bellaart.
'WAFA SC announces the death of Mr. Joost Bellaart after a short illnesses'.
Joost Ballarat, before his demise served as the marketing consultant for the Sogakope based club
'Bellaart was a marketing consultant for the academy and also a fervent supporter'. The statement read.
Joost Bellaart was born to Dutch parents on 15 February, 1951. He was a hockey coach of the Netherlands national team before taking up the marketing consultancy job for WAFA.
