The supporters union of the West African Football Academy WAFA has expressed what they described as a shock after hearing the demise of their marketing consultant.
WAFA broke the death of Joost Bellaart, the marketing consultant of the club on their Twitter handle.
Yohanes Hadzor Nugbe, president of WAFA supporters union, in an interview with 24hourssports.com, described the death as shocking.
'It was a shock to us as supporters union when we heard Joost was dead, we knew Joost Bellaart as the marketing consultant of the club, we also know he was an ardent supporter of WAFA. He has the club at heart and will always see him in the stands whenever WAFA is playing against other teams. His death has come as a big blow to us, we as supporters union expresses our deepest condolences to the bereaved family. We will miss him very much'
It is not known when Joost will be buried, but reports available to 24hoursaports.com indicates that, Joost Bellaart will be flown to his home country Netherlands to be laid to rest.
