Yesterday, December 24, 2020 marked one of the most memorable moments of Swiss FM Sports Crew as they held an end of year dinner to climax the sports program over the year, 2020.
There was a lot to eat and drink as the sports crew led by the Director of Sports of Swiss FM Richard Quainoo affectionately called "High Commander of Sports" welcomed every one who came to the dinner night.
The host, Richiso ceased the night to announce the end of his time with Swiss FM. He however used the opportunity to advice all about the need to unite and fight a just cause.
"I am grateful to everyone who made it a point to come and join us as we climax the year in such a unique manner. Indeed this has shown that, we are united, I want to also announce that, coming next year, I will no longer be at the station. The time has come to also move on as I seek other career in my profession as a nurse. I pray we continue to remain united to fight for a just cause. I want to thank everyone who made it possible for me, of course without you all, I won't have made it like this. God bless you all"
Raymond Tsiagbe, a co-host and a Sports Pundit, also commended the listeners for the support the whole sports crew have enjoyed, this he said without their continuous call-in to the show, it would have been an empty one.
"I am of the view that, our callers and all those who have always texted by way of contributing on the show made it very possible for us as Swiss Sports Crew to stay on top. We owe it to you as your support were immeasurable. We say thank you."
The Regional's Football Association Secretary, Promise Ahiagba, in a brief remark, also commended the entire pundits on the Sports show for their research works and in-depth analysis. 'Computer Man' as he is popularly called praised the host 'Richiso' for his unique style in his delivery adding that, other sports presenters should follow suit.
Swiss Sports pundits in attendance were Forster Kudiabor(Oxygen) Paul Mensah, Oppong Kyekyeku, Ned K. Manasseh, Raymond Kudjo Tsiagbe, Wisdom Elikplim Ametefe (Fearless), Chief David Kwame Amewose who double as the host of Sports Xtra, an Ewe Sports version and Francis Lanyo aka Agboloto. Foster Osei aka Prezo who had to attend to an all important program was absent. Colleague from Kingdom FM, Emil Atando, Dominic Morkley (Capello) and host of others were in full attendance to mark the celebration.
