Phobia boys unable to master OGYA boys heat in Dormaa

Aduana Stars records its first game in the Ghana Premier League, beating Hearts of Oak 2-0 in the process.

Accra Hearts of Oak have lost 0-2 to Aduana Stars at the Nana Agyeman Badu park earlier this afternoon.

The game was in fulfilment of the Match Day One of the Ghana Premier League fixture.

Striker Yaya Mohammed scored first in the 42' to put the Ogya Boys in the lead after Hearts were wasteful in the early stages of the game.

Aduana Stars kept pressing the Phobians in search of another goal through set pieces they enjoyed at Hearts defense.

The Ogya Boys maintained their lead as they gathered momentum in the second half with a great deal of performance to ensure the Phobians are kept under pressure in their own half.

Kosta Papic's substitution for Victor Aidoo coming to take the place of Kwadwo Obeng Jr brought a little stability in the Hearts midfield but Aduana Stars would have no fear of that.

Prince Acquah had to wait untill the 48' to make it two for Aduana Stars after capitalizing on a rebound from Isaac Kwain to drive home a 25 yard steller, beating goal keeper Richard Arthur in the process. Hearts look more troubled as they struggled to hold Yaya Mohammed at defense.

Frederick Ansah Botchway coming in for Michelle Sarpong could not help the Phobians despite creating some decent chances.

Robert Addo could have had a consolation goal for the Rainbow Boys in the 89' but failed to score from the penalty spot after Aduana's Hafiz Adams handled the ball in the penalty box

Kosta Papic ahead of the game made just a change in the starting line up that won against Dreams FC in the match day 5 at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The loss for Hearts means they are pegged on the 10th position after 5 games played in the ongoing Ghana Premier League.
