Court of Arbitration for Sports has ruled in favour of Kurt Okraku as Palmer case to call for a new GFA Presidential election dismissed |
The dust has finally been settled after it turned out the court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS) has dismissed the case Osei Kwaku Palmer brought before the court of sports some months back.
Osei Kweku Palmer was disqualified to contest for the Ghana Football Association presidential election by then Normalization Committee.
The Tema Youth owner ran to CAS for an annulment of Kurt's presidency as GFA president and an onward plead for a new election be held.
Upon several postponement of the case by CAS, the verdict has been made as CAS has seen no wrong doing by the erstwhile Normalization Committee.
This means, Kurt Okraku will continue to rule Ghana football to see to the end of his 4 year tenure, subjected to be re-elected for his second term as per the new regulation of the Ghana Football Association.
