TP Mazembe and Torric Jebrin fail to agree a new deal

Torric Jebrin part ways with TP Mazembe

DR Congo heavyweights TP Mazembe have let go off Ghanaian midfielder Torric Jebrin from their ranks following both parties inability to agree to a fresh deal after the existing contract elapsed.
The former Accra Hearts of Oak player switched camps joining the former African Champions League winners in 2019 on a year's deal with a possible extension.
Jebrin featured 15 times, netting once as well as providing two assists in all competitions last season.
Once the season was over in DR Congo, both representatives met in an attempt to extend the player's contract but they couldn't find unison in contract talks hence the player walking out of the door.
The club however announced via their official twitter handle, that both sides mutually agreed to part ways.
“Arrivé au mois de 07/2019 pour un bail d’une année avec une autre en option, le Ghanéen Torric ne poursuivra pas son aventure à L'Shi. Il n’a pas obtenu la 2e année de son contrat qui était en option.”
