| Nana Yaw Amponsah becomes the new CEO of Kumasi Asante Kotoko |
Kumasi Asante Kotoko have finally unveiled Nana Yaw Amponsah as the club’s new Chief Executive Officer.
His appointment comes into fruition after the Board held a series of consultative meeting with the backing of the Life Patron of the club, Otumfuo Osei Tutu.
The affable football administrator interviewed for the top job in June, only for reports to suggest that, he wasn't going to be given the opportunity to lead the club.
But this development clears all doubts about his appointment which saw the officially unveiling their new man at the Sports Hotel on Friday afternoon in Kumasi.
Nana Yaw Amponsah holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and Political Science from the University of Ghana, Legon, and a Master’s Degree in Sports Law and Practice from the Leicester DE Monort University, UK.
Hopefully, his immense years of experience in the game will inure to the benefit of the Kumasi based club, who in recent times haven't had a great deal of signing quality players and getting returns on their sales.
