Volta FA Boss Declines To Speak About GFA GH¢10,000 Fund

Following reports on social media of the Brong Ahafo Regional Football Association chairman denying receipt of a GH¢10,000 fund from the mother association body the GFA, the Volta Regional Football Association chairman, Mr. Daniel Agbogah in a phone interview on Swiss FM  yesterday May 13, was unable to confirm or deny receipt of the regional association share of the money.

When asked by Raymond Kudjo Tsiagbe a co-host of the Swiss Sports Classic whether the region has received any such money, the chairman of the FA in response insist Congress and the Regional Executive Council Committee would have to meet first before making a public declaration.

" About that money you are talking about, I won't be able to speak to it for now, it has to be discussed at the Congress and Executive Council, through those medium the public will know about it"

Mr. Agbogah whose stance on the issue was to formerly communicate to the appropriate quarters, since speculation about the money in question was rife, insist on updating Congress first.

" Well it's already in speculation and definitely whether it has come or not, I need to update Congress on it" he added.

Reports gathered by 24hourssports.com indicates that, no Regional Football Association has received any such monies from the GFA.

Meanwhile, as part of Kurt Okraku election promise, every Regional Football Association will receive 100 metre balls to help organise the regional leagues, this in fulfilment of his promise as president of the GFA, has distributed 100 balls to all Regional  FAs.

However a confirmation from the Volta Regional Football Association chairman, Mr. Daniel Agbogah affirmed the receieval of the balls.
