| Julius Brempong Ankamah plays for Accra Young Wise |
It has always been the case for every footballer to play in the European top notch clubs, this dream isn't different from Julius Brempong Ankamah.
Julius, 22 is a product of Asogli FC. Having rise from colts football through to becoming a Dynamo FC player, left for Windy Professionals in Winneba where he featured for the division one team for a season.
" I started playing football in Ho as a child. Asogli FC was my first colts team I played before moving to Dynamo FC. I later joined Windy Professionals in Winneba and played with them in the Division one league for a season, I came back to Dynamo and again played in the Division one before finally signing for Accra Young Wise"
Julius revealed joining Accra Young Wise was based on the trials he together with three other players went. The mecuriel attacking midfielder became the only survival among the other two players picked said, it was luck, determination and hard work which earned him a spot in the Accra based club.
" We were three players from Ho that traveled for the trials, Mr. Daniel Agbogah told us the club was interested in us so he gave us the club number and address and we left. Out of the three, I was the only one picked. I will say it was a bit of luck more were hard work and determination that's how come i joined Accra Young Wise"
Asked by the host Richard Quainoo, his best team he has played so far, Julius disclosed his favorite was Dynamo FC.
" I would say Dynamo FC, there I knew a lot of guys and we happened to play together with great understanding, we supported each other and ensure we are always together to fight for victory"
As in most cases, every football player have their best team mate, Julius' great partnership with former team mate, Johnson Selase Barthez in most games has earned a spot in the heart of Julius as his best player he has played with.
" Barthez is my best team mate, he's a natural goal scorer, he always have an eye for goals, I will choose him as the best"
Julius dream is to play for FC Barcelona in the Spanish La Liga, but a move to Hearts of Oak in the Ghanaian premier league after Accra Young Wise will be one he would embrace.
" I want to play for Barça, that's my dream team, but here in Ghana, it is my hope to also play for Hearts of Oak after Accra Young Wise"
