Vora FC welcomed Police National FC to the Ho Sports Stadium for a friendly encounter to test their preparedness ahead of the Volta Div 2 league yesterday.
The friendly game which ended 1-1 was also the first official game for the newly branded club.
In attendance was the deputy Volta regional minister, Hon. Johnson Avuletey. His presence at the Ho Sports Stadium was aimed at having a first hand idea about Vora FC whose prime target is to qualify to the division one and bring back the lost glories.
One moment that stole the show was when Hon. Johnson Avuletey in an attempt to kick off the ball to usher a start of the much talked about game, got his shoe off.
This brought the stadium to a rousing applauds as it is rarely seen in most cases.
The beauty of the game was never denied as both teams displayed a high level of beautiful football.
