| Sadat Ayara scores his Div 1 league debut goal for Heart of Lions |
Kpando Heart of Lions produced an impressive performance as they beat Tudu Mighty Jet in an away encounter in the ongoing National Div One League.
Lions coming from an underwhelming home performance against Nania FC produced a win in Match Day 9 at the Teshie Mats Park in Accra. Sadat Ayara registered the only goal of the day in the 16th minute to hand the visitors all the 3 points.
Sadat Ayara, a former Nkwanta Young Desert Warriors player has now scored his Div One debut goal for Lions but his third in all competitions.
He scored a brace against Adidome Unity Stars in the MTN FA Cup round of 64 in his debut game at Sogakofe.
Expressing his excitement, the young player promised to score more for the team.
"Am delighted to get my debut goal in the league, I've worked so hard to achieve this. I will continue to help my team mates and produce the goals the fans wanted" he said.
Tudu Mighty Jet are currently lying 9th on the league log with 11 points after Week 9 matches whereas Lions have accumulated 18 points also from 9 outings.
Lions will play as host to Tema Youth on Wednesday at the Lions Den in Kpando.
