VIDEO: HEARTS WENT, SAW AND CONQUERED THE BELIEVERS AT THE THEATRE OF DREAMS

Dreams fall at the Theartre of Dreams

Accra Hearts of Oak are back to winning ways after seeing off Dreams FC in a fashionable style at the Theatre of Dreams yesterday.

Kofi Kordzi's solo goal was enough to gift Hearts another 3 points in Dawu. Coach Edward Nii Odoom kept faith in the same squad that played against Kotoko. Hearts produced one of their best performance as the boys were all over the field in search of goal.

Esso's brilliant effort was denied by the wood work as he managed to outwit his marker in the 18 box of Dreams. The Phobians kept pushing for a goal before half time but a resolute defense of Dreams was too strong to deny Hearts a goal in the first half of the game.

The virginity of the game was broken in the 55' when Emmanuel Nettey orchestrated the attack with a sweet pass to Frederick  Botchway whose control of the ball to Kofi Kordzi beautifully twisted the ball around the defense of Dreams before sending a low drive into the net.

The Theatre of Dreams went dead as the Still Believers got the shock of their lives.

Karim Zito, coach of Dreams made changes in an attempt to salvage a point for the Dawu based team but all went futile as referee Esso Doh Morrison brings the game to an ended at the Theatre of Dreams with Hearts taking all the 3 points.
