MATCH PREVIEW: MEDEAMA VS KOTOKO

Medeama goes for Kotoko head in Match Day 4.

If not Liberty Professionals who stopped Medeama's winning run in the league, they would by now be rocking shoulders with Ashgold and Aduana Stars who have seen a 100% record in the first 3 matches.

Medeama despite drawing in the week 3 of the Ghana premier league cannot be written off amongst the contenders of the league. They possess some level of charisma to win games despite playing away.

The Akoon park after it was approved by the FA has seen other teams struggling to survive with Hearts picking 3 balls from their net when they last visited. Only Inter Allies has been able to pick a point there when they played Karela FC.

Samuel Boadu has done a good job so far after stepping in the shoes as an interim coach of Medeama with 7 points accumulation from a possible 9. His potentials will be tested again when he meet another strong side, Kotoko.

Maxwell Konadu is calm ahead of today's crunch encounter. Despite losing 1-0 to Berekum Chelsea, he has remained focused and will not allow the aftermath of that game affect his players.

Kotoko is among the few teams to have enjoyed some success here in Tarkwa, the team will have in their mind that, Medeama can be beaten despite it is Akoon Park.

I would love to see the frontiers of both teams to be busy with some strong hitting of goals. I am backing a draw in this game having a 1-1 scoreline to consider.

HEAD TO HEAD

Medeama went away narrowly with a 1-0 win when Kotoko paid a visit during the NC Special Competition.

Medeama managed to beat Kotoko in the 2016/17 league season, scoring 2-1 in the process.

Kotoko on many times of their visit has been a draw here in Tarkwa than most wins they ever recorded even though they won narrowly in 2012/13 season.
