Legon Cities vs Kotoko |
Legon Cities will make a strong case tonight when they host Kumasi Asante Kotoko in the match day 2 of the Ghana Premier league.
With the kind of branding Legon Cities have had in the last few days, is enough to expect massive attendance at the Accra Sports Stadium to support them win against Kotoko.
Having had a draw away against Liberty Professionals last week, it will be expected that, the old but renamed club should win in tonights encounter.
The club, since renamed has enjoyed an unprecedented facelift from its owners, with nice bus branding as a boost, they can also boast of some quality players who have showed resilience to win matches as well.
I will not be too surprise to see Goran Barjaktarevic and his boys winning because of the moral in camp, the fans will surely make the night a memory for the players on the pitch when one of the best Ghanaian musician grace the stadium and give the fans a nice tune of songs.
Kotoko arrived a day before tonights game, the journey of their first away game in the season will start with an enterprising and re-branded team, Obviously Kotoko is not new to the Accra Sports Stadium, they have in the past recorded sweet victories playing on the pitch against the likes of Hearts of Oak, Olympics, just but to mention a few. Kotoko does better at the Accra Sports Stadium than their own home grounds so to say, so I won't be surprised to see the Kumasi based team going for the kill.
They will hope to add Legon Cities FC to their pot of soup when they meet at 6pm.
Maxwell Konadu was not happy with the 1-0 victory against Eleven Wonders last week and has sent a strong warning to his side to be ruthless in front of goals if they want to win the league. This however will inform the players of the task ahead of them.
I am very sure fans will be entertained with good music, and on the pitch, one side will have to look sad at the end of the 90'. I do not see a draw, hence, I am all out for the Porcupine Warriors taking all the precious 3 points from the host team.
Take Over 1.5 goals as the outcome of goals that will be raining here tonight.
