After the Ghana Football Association dissolved the Technical and Management Boards of all the national teams, many names have come up with regards to who is fit to coach the national teams especially the Black Stars team.

Mohammed Polo, a former Black Stars player in recent times has been in the news with the claim, he is the best coach to be handed the senior national team job.

A sesction of Ghanaians and football pundits have suggested the senior national team job be given to an expatriate for the sake of new trends in modern football that comes with a scientific approach which our local coaches have failed to learn.

According to Osei Foster aka Prezo, he opined on Swiss FM Sports program dubbed Sports Classic on the Wednesday edition that the senior national team job was not for jokers to be toying with.

"Black Stars is not for jokers, "football is the soul and heart of Ghanaians, not for entertainers" he said.

When asked further by Quainoo Richard, the host of the show if Mohammed Polo was qualified to be the head coach of the Black Stars, the Ho based sports analyst was emphatic to affirm his thoughts on the former Hearts of Oak coach.

" He was a good footballer (Mohammed polo) but not a good tactician. The modern football now, Mohammed Polo is out of it, football has changed, not the 1978 kind. It will take someone the ability to read and understand the game; that person can't be Mohammed Polo "

Prezo as popularly called also talked about how the Black Stars team has been subjected to a public ridicule, a situation he blamed the past administration and managers for making Black Stars cheap, reasons why anyone could come out and speak on coaching Black Stars.

" It is because Black Stars has been reduced to the puppies that's why anyone can say he can manage the Black Stars. It is because of our own doing "

Unconfirmed reports has it that, names including Mohammed Polo have popped up bidding for the job to become the head coach of the Black Stars after the contract expiration of Kwasi Appiah on December 31.

The Ghana FA is yet to make a formal notice for interested coaches to apply.
